How you can stop the illness?

Mental and emotional illnesses are the world’s number one problem of public health. If you are one of the several millions of people who suffer from anguish, nervousness, jealousy, anxiety, depression, solitude, fear, insecurity, irritability and other tortuous emotions, to a point where properly functioning in life has become impossible, there is hope for you, even though you have failed in trying to seek relief. We speak from our personal experience because we have suffered these emotions and many others; we have been very sick and have found a way out. We would like to show it to you so you can also feel better and reach the serene life that we have already found.

As probably you did, we have attempted anything to alleviate our suffering. Some of us underwent psychiatric or medical treatment, or received religious instruction. We have taken tranquilizers, antidepressants, sleeping pills, vitamins or other drugs --all that medical science can offer. Some of us received shock therapy or spent a great part of our lives in both internal and external consults in hospitals, and in spite of all this we stayed sick and miserable.

For years we believed that there was not solution for us and that we were condemned to suffer chronically. Some of us tried to commit suicide  several times, this was normal for us; we did not find peace anywhere. We went from one place to another, from one job to another, from friend to  friend, we changed activities and none of this alleviated our suffering; we were alone among people whom we loved and even more alone in a crowd.

Only a person who has suffered this torture can know what we are talking about.

We have found a solution and it can be yours. The way out is the Recovery Program as suggested by Neurotics Anonymous. Now we are the opposite of what we used to be: happy, full of life. We love people, we lead productive, useful lives; we feel in peace with ourselves and with others. We have the sincere purpose of transmitting this message to people that are still suffering.

These things are not utopic; they have happened to us. We were seriously ill of our emotions to the point of being disabled. Now we are useful and worthy members of our communities. When we go through unemployment, through the physical illness of some relative or any other setback, we have the tools to calmly take life as it goes. These are realities that thousands of us are experiencing. If you want to know us, our doors are open and we will be glad to help you.
